Help for those who have lost a child to abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth.

People who have suffered the loss of a child through abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth can carry the pain with them for a long time, often without realizing where it is coming from.

This pain can affect mothers, fathers, even grandparents and can come out years after the events that caused them.

If you're suffering from the loss of a child don't be afraid!

You're not alone, and you're not crazy for having these feelings. It's normal to grieve a loss, and many others have gone through what you're experiencing.

Most important, many women and men have found healing and peace in their lives through the Rachel Ministry.

The Rachel Ministry is an outreach of healing and hope after the loss of an unborn child through miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion.

The Rachel Ministry Prayer Service offers relevant and appropriate readings from Scripture, a reflection by an understanding and supportive priest, a talk by a person who has already gone through a similar experience, and an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. It offers a chance to reach out to God for help, and to receive His healing touch. In this service of healing and reconciliation, we place the lives of our lost children in the hands of God, and we ask for His blessing and peace.

The Prayer Service is entirely anonymous and private. You will never be asked to reveal the nature of your loss or to share your story. No registration is required , and you will never be asked to reveal your name.

The Prayer Service is open to everyone - we welcome women and men of all ages, and of all faiths. Nobody is turned away (see the schedule on the right).
